Employee Stock
Ownership Plan (ESOP)
In 1996, Charles Barry, Chairman and CEO of Twin City Fan Companies,
Ltd, announced the adoption of an employee stock ownership plan.
"This is an opportunity for us to share the success of
our company with our employees, who are such a vital part in
making Twin City Fan a leader in the design and manufacture
of our products," Mr. Barry stated in a press release.
"Employees now have a tremendous incentive to stay with our company,"
according to Mr. Barry, "since they will share in all of
the growth in the block of stock being acquired in this and
succeeding years." He stated that the company plans to
make significantly greater contributions to the ESOP plan than
it had to its previous retirement plans. Over and above that,
the employees now have a direct share in the growth of their
company.
The implementation of the ESOP supports our company's mission
statement, which in part provides that we will be a
quality company in all that we do and that we will enhance and
sustain our company culture, enabling us to develop the people
who contribute to our success. |
